Civil Engineer
Georgios Bekas is a PhD Civil and Structural engineer, holder of an MSc in Applied Environmental Protection Policies and Techniques specializing in environmental protection, with professional experience in surveying, the use of CAD/BIM software, the structural design and the energy design of buildings. He also has an MBA with Marketing specialization, from the Technical University of Crete. He is an energy assessor, and compliance inspector of building regulations of the highest class, as regards the ranking in the national register.He is chartered with IGreekE since 2012. He is an expert in the practical application of operational research techniques and passionate about value engineering in the structural and the energy design of buildings. He participates in international conferences and journals about applied optimization, having presented proposals for the optimal design of insulations, windows, photovoltaic systems, HVAC systems throughout their life cycle. As regards the optimal structural design of buildings he has presented proposals for reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures and pile groups.
Designer
Fotini Beka is a graduate from the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala. She works since 2009 as a CAD/BIM designer in the business. She has attended a series of seminars about landscaping, gardening and development of agricultural products. Beyond her basic role as a designer, she undertakes landscape design projects in Greece and Cyprus.
Konstantinos Beka's office was founded 45 years ago by the civil engineer NTUA. Konstantinos Bekas has since carried out a large number of building permits and topographical surveys in the Eastern Attica region. Company's name then turned into Structy by his son Georgios Bekas following Konstantinos Beka's death.
