Energy certificates (certificates of energy efficiency) refer to the evaluation of a building, a part of a building or an apartment based on a system of energy classes that refer to the consumption of primary energy in kWh, ending in a ranking in the energy classes from H to Z.<\/p>

The vast majority of buildings and apartments were built before 1979, are uninsulated and are ranked in the energy classes H and Z.\u00a0 <\/span>\u03ba\u03b1\u03c4\u03b1\u03c4\u03ac\u03c3\u03c3\u03bf\u03bd\u03c4\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c4\u03b9\u03c2 \u03b5\u03bd\u03b5\u03c1\u03b3\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1\u03ba\u03ad\u03c2 \u03ba\u03bb\u03ac\u03c3\u03b5\u03b9\u03c2 \u0397 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u0396.<\/p>

Classes E to C, generally refer to residential buildings or apartments with insufficient insulation, which have been constructed after 1979, when the KTHK (Building Thermal Insulation Regulation) was implemented. The youngest buildings (after 2010), have the energy classes A +, A, B + and B.<\/p>

Energy certificates are mandatory in every rental of an apartment or building, in real estate transfers, while now they accompany the identity of a building and therefore are registered in the relevant information systems of T.E.E. and the Ministry of Environment and Energy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Energy certificates, although important documents for the energy valuation of a building or apartment generally have low cost. In each energy certificate, it is necessary to register at least one proposal for the energy upgrade of the studied building or apartment. Finally, through the energy certificate, an estimate of the operating costs regarding the energy consumption of a building or apartment is made.<\/p>
